HVAC Tune-Up or AC Tune-Up Special
Our HVAC tune-up to your furnace, AC unit, ducts, and thermostat includes a full inspection of all ducts and the heat exchanger, a complete static test performed with a manometer, a free 1” standard air filter, and much more!
What’s included:
AC Tune-Up
- Check condenser coil
- Test compressor’s amperage draw
- Inspect panels and fan motor
- Check the condensate drain pipes
- Check refrigerant levels (R-22 is outlawed by EPA, no longer produced)
- Check primary and secondary drain on evap.
- Check drain pan (horizontal applications)
- Inspect electrical wires and connections
- Check and inspect disconnect (fused or non-fused)
- Check unit seismic strap (for earthquake safety)
Furnace Tune-Up
- Clean washable filter or replace with free 1” paper filter (any other filter size will be charged for additionally)
- Inspect safety door switch
- Check induced combustion blower motor
- Check and test the heat exchanger
- Inspection of flue vent
- Inspection of combustion air
- Inspection of gravity condensate drain (90% AFUE)
- Check gas valve, flame sensors, and burners
- Inspect all fuses, switches, and circuit boards
- Check blower amperage draw
- Check and tighten wire connections as needed
- Inspect the blower motor
- Check & test all safety devices (high limit, pressure switch)
HVAC Thermostat Diagnostic
- Inspect T-STAT and program to proper temperature
- Run thermostat self-calibration (if available)
Air Ducts Inspection
- Inspect ducts and the entire ventilation system for any air leaks or loose connections
- Inspect for proper straps and tie downs
Insulation inspection
- Inspect insulation levels
- Will inform customer of evidence of Vermin
